- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★The staff helped me file for assistance for my 85 year old father when he moved into assisted living. They took their time and went through everytning I needed to fill out. Stickers and hilighters! This is confusing!! They made it as easy as possible. They also took the time to review everything a week later when I completed my part. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I called to see if I could come in and see a doctor about a bad cough that had start rd several days ago. The lady was rude and told me to go get some over the counter cough syrup and if it got worse to go to the va in Atlanta. I live in North Carolina and I am 100% disabled. We are visiting family for several days. I saw where the va in Oakwood was rated 3.7. It should be less than that.
